This document is the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by the US government to ban discrimination based on race, colour, religion, sex or national origin. It outlines the way African Americans are to be treated, equally and fairly as how a white American would be treated. This document explains how African Americans "shall be entitled to the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, and privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodations ... without discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, colour, religion, or national origin". This act was enacted on the second July, 1964 and ended unequal treatments of African Americans in public places.
