Dear Editor,
Despite the passing down of the civil right laws to Americans, we, African Americans still experience unfairness and unequal treatment in general public, as well as, in our workplaces.
Even simple acts like walking down the street, we are receiving disapproving looks from white people and I am undoubtedly treated unequally by my fellow employees. This issue needs to be dealt with and the American government needs to address this matter seriously.
It's about time that the US take us seriously and give us the equal and basic rights all human beings deserve. We are not slaves that you are to boss around, but humans, just like the rest of you are.

Dear Editor,
I have look at your website and have seen, the inequality for the African Americans. The website has shown the African Americans that they have struggle for rights and freedoms, the inequalities that the people experienced and the changes of these inequalities is America. As an American, I too see these unequal rights now because I have experienced an incident where an dark skinned person that couldn't buy milk. This experience shocked me and I argued that "everyone has rights in the USA". This leaded to researching the inequality in USA from past to present and that it is still happening. I have wrote to show my opinion on the unfairness of the human rights by their colour.
